The epiphany
The other day when I was on my before-lunch-walk into the forrest with our dog (altough this day I took the bike). I realized something!
The trees around us danced slowly from the puffs of wind coming their way. The clouds were quite thick and I listened to a podcast called ”Det skaver”. The podcast is one I listen to briefly each month and its an entertaining podcast about life after 30.
This particular day I felt their chatter wasn’t boosting me the way it usually does so I decided to play something else.
I landed on a list of ambiance sounds and chose one called ”Deep water sounds”. I jumped back on my bike, whistled on Fokus (my dog) and rode on.
The ”Deep water sounds” soothing my ears was definitely more calming than the podcast. Although my biking was telling my brain we were working out and I didn’t

People that are living life without social media are not on social media. Obviously! But, that’s where we have been programmed to look for inspiration and people.
So, naturally we have a hard time being inspired by these people when we look for them on these platforms. Do they even exist? Can I do what someone somewhere is supposedly doing? Where do we find them? Can I just go to the café and find one?
I will find out! In this next chapter of my career I will look for answers. I will let myself be as curious as 7 year old me and I will venture into the real world. Away from toxic comparison and algorithms.

And at the end I will write a summary where I hopefully have tied new connections, found a more balanced way to run my business and have more confident way to approach new opportunities!
